2026 Survivor Day Butterfly Release

LOSS is pleased to invite you to our 8th annual Survivor Day Butterfly Release on Saturday, May 16th!

You may notice that this year’s event is earlier in the year, which we’ve changed in hopes of cooler weather. The Butterfly Release will be held at Blendon Woods Metro Park, Sycamore Pavilion - It’s a beautiful space with mature trees and plenty of seating. Our Butterfly Release is always a bittersweet morning of laughing, crying, and sharing memories while releasing butterflies in memory of loved ones. Please join us to honor your loved one and to release a butterfly in their memory. Guests will release their individual butterflies at end of the ceremony.

Reserve your butterflies by Wednesday, April 29th for $10 each. Butterfly purchase is not required to attend.

Check-in at 10:30 am and ceremony begins shortly after 11 am
