Remembrance Bears Workshop

You are invited to join LOSS for a Remembrance Bear Workshop on Saturday, November 1st at 10 am!

What are Remembrance Bears?

They are crafted bears (or square or heart-shaped pillows) made from a cherished T-shirt, graduation gown, jersey, or other important fabric that then becomes a linking object to those we have lost. Using the materials you provide, each stuffed item will be lovingly hand-crafted by a suicide loss survivor and returned to the LOSS office for you to fill with stuffing.

Event Details:

- Clean materials must be turned in to LOSS by Friday, October 17th, 2025 by 4:00 pm at the LOSS office, which is found at 3040 Riverside Drive, Suite 224, Columbus, Ohio 43221.
- You may choose a bear or a square or heart-shaped pillow. Please note that denim, leather, and other heavy materials are not appropriate for this craft.
- Place fabric in a bag labeled with your first and last name and telephone number.
- There is a maximum of two bears or pillows per person.
- A light breakfast will be included.
- Cost is $30 per bear or pillow ($15 covers cost and $15 directly funds care box supplies for newly bereaved loss survivors.)
- Left over materials will be returned.
