Event Details:
Join us for a hot breakfast and memory activities at the Warner Woods Pavilion on November 22nd for International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, as we remember and honor the loved ones we’ve lost to suicide. This is a free event. Seating is limited and will go fast, so make your reservations today.
Each year, the Saturday before Thanksgiving is recognized as the International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day. The observance began in 1999, when Senator Harry Reid introduced a resolution to the US Senate after losing his father to suicide. All over the world, events big and small bring together loss survivors for healing and understanding. Friends and families celebrate the lives of their loved ones, while offering each other hope and encouragement. Grief and loss are immeasurably difficult and your healing experience is your own. Know that LOSS is always available for connection and resources.
